Excellent position. Very friendly - Nothing was too much trouble. Free tea, coffee and cake available - all day, which is most unusual for a Spanish hotel. Large comfortable beds and nice view from room. Spotlessly clean. Carmen speaks good English.

The rooms were stylishly decorated and the host was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fabulous, far exceeding most hotel/pension breakfasts with the additional touches of all day coffee and cake. Perfectly located...close to the old city without being so close as to be noisy. Would absolutely recommend

Friendly and knowledgeable staff who share their useful advice. Great location for bus transport access as well as being at the edge of historic district. Good security. Very comfortable simple stay for the solo traveler with a fantastic library.
Improve ventilation of the hallway bathroom: although very clean, it was musty.

The personal touch added by the extremely professional and friendly hotel management. They were very helpful regarding booking of trips, tickets etc. The fact that they spek English was also very helpful
The street was a bit noisy at night, but the Pension is in the centre so this is to be expected

Stayed here during a 2 day visit to Santiago de Compostella. The location was about as perfect as it could. A straight walk from the train station of about 20 minutes; 2 blocks from the historically district. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the staff is very helpful. Even though we arrived late due to a train delay, we were greeted warmly and given information and directions to recommended sites and restaurants in the historic district. You could not find a better location and hotel for a brief visit to Santiago.
Not really a complaint, but just a note of awareness; This is a Pension, so do not expect a lot of room and comfort. I wouldnot recommend this for an extended stay, but it is perfect for a brief 1 or 2 night stay to visit the town. Though rooms are small (and the bathroom is probably one of the smallest I have seen), it is extremely clean and well taken care of.
